I hope so but if not, it’s okay. I want to start sharing my writing again, so I figured I’d use a platform I haven’t fully taken advantage of. So I’ll be using my website (this website) instead of exclusively sharing on Instagram and Facebook. When I share on social media, most times I feel pressured to have an aesthetically pleasing graphic and I worry about the time of day I post because of the algorithm, post engagement and all that jazz. All of those things are relevant and important to consider, but I noticed I have been more focused on those aspects instead of writing what my heart desires and authentically expressing myself in written form.
So I’m sure at some point, I’ll intentionally share this blog on my social media accounts to increase traffic over here. For now, I’m content with writing a blog and building my consistency and if I feel like adding photos and videos or whatever, I will but if I don't I'm not going to pressure myself to do so.
