I was wondering if I should categorize this post as a "music/song review" but it's more of a lyrical observation (that sounds fancy) and reflection. To be clear, I'm not criticizing the song or the writer (this is still one of my favorite childhood gospel songs), I simply wanted to share my views on 2 lines of the song. I also considered not posting it here but what sense does that make? I mean I have a blog for this very reason - to share what I want to share!
